Tom Schwartz has been painting and sketching all his life, often focusing on landscapes inspired by his great love of hiking around the world.

After design and art schools, he went into graphic design and advertising, winning virtually every major award in that industry. He has published and illustrated three books, and now he devotes his time to painting.

When he is not in his studio or out on the trail, he spends time with his wife, Sylvia, in Hoboken, NJ.

There are no mistakes, only happy accidents.

I don't see the point of going to college if you don't take art history.
